The Fall of Brackenbone is not the first Roy Huff’s Everville novels, but it’s easy enough to pick up and start reading. Yes, the reader will wonder about details of what went before. But Brackenbone has its own story, with the threat of war still looming “just below the horizon. The enemy strikes the instant arrogance blinds you…”Readers are quickly transported to a different world, only to find it connected to portals in our own, and to curious possibilities of times and element. Can the vanquished be forgiven? Can wrongdoers repent? And can unforgiveness foment the disastrous undoing of everything? Everville The Fall of Brackenbone edition by Roy Huff Children eBooks Reviews
Keeps you your toes
The Fall of Brackenbone is the fourth book of the Everville series. Owen Sage, a college student, once again finds himself passing back and forth between the real world and the fantasy world of Everville. This time he has to outsmart the evil Governor Jahal. As with the other books in the series, there is a plethora of creatures, such as the Them, The Fron, the Alarians, and the Keepers. Readers who haven't read the other books might have a difficult time keeping them all straight. There's a fair share of mythical creatures such as dragons and giants for those who love fantasy. And there is plenty of action. But the big excitement comes near the end when the evil forces of the fantasy world nearly overtake the real world.
The Fall of Brackenbone is a highly imaginative book that would appeal to young adult readers who enjoy fantasy novels.
This is a very good read. This book was a hard to put down once you start reading. I was very pleased as to how well it is written and the fast pace that is set to keep you intrigued of what is to come next. We get to see how Owen and his friends have grown in the books. This one is also able to be read without reading the other books in the series. It is a great sci-fi fantasy book that allowed me to feel like I was apart of the journey and enjoyed it from the beginning to end.
The author has a great talent for writing and is one of my favorites now and look forward to more from him.
The creative juggernaut, Roy Huff has done another amazing job on this latest book, and I believe everyone who enjoys the genre will be greatly entertained, and are sure to want more.

Ambitious work, very well written, systematic but exciting at the same time. Exquisite style of narration. A multidimensional story full of adventures, subplots and memorable characters.
Review THE FALL OF BRACKENBONE (EVERVILLE #4) by Roy Huff
There's no surprise that the EVERVILLE series is consistently best-selling. The author's talent and imagination shine through in every paragraph and character. Whenever I read fantasy or science fiction--any speculative fiction--I constantly marvel at the creativity required to build new worlds. Author Roy Huff builds multiple worlds in each volume, and keeps them all running consistently. Another point to mention is the bedrock of hope for positive change. Mr. Huff teaches us that mistakes, although desirably avoided, are nevertheless natural, and that selfishness, greed, and other character fats, can be overcome; even virtual failures may become rejuvenated individuals.
