I think the last paragraph is misleading because it sets the expectation that Sienna will address this conflict in Great Exploitations, when in fact this is a glimpse of a future book.

In my opinion Great Exploitation is more like a prequel. In this book we follow Sienna through the stages of an "Errand" (setting up cheating husbands so the wife will catch them violating their pre-nuptial agreement). We follow Sienna through the initial meeting with the client, the first meeting with the target and the completion of the assignment. We also learn a little about Sienna's motivation and background.

The story itself was interesting and gives readers a good example of how technical and detached Sienna is to her assignments. Keep in mind this book is extremely short and can be read in two or so hours. As I stated, throughout this book we follow Sienna on a standard assignment.....then when that assignment is completed and Sienna receives her next job file the book ends with us learning of Sienna's personal connection to the target. I think Great Exploitation provides excellent preparation for the last paragraph in the synopsis which I assume will occur in future installments. After learning of the personal connection to the next assignment I am excited to see where this series is heading and learning more about Sienna's background.

I have read plenty of books by Nicole Williams previously and have liked her books quite a bit. I started Mischief in Miami one morning because I didn't have my Paperwhite on me and my husband had to go to an appointment while I sat in the car and waited. Perfect time for reading since the kid was in daycare at the time. So, why not start a short read? This book was (and still is at the time of writing this review) free on .
Now, I didn't really read the synopsis because I figured it was by Nicole Williams, I like her, I'll like the book. Like Colleen Hoover, you just don't read the synopsis, you know you'll like it. I was right. I was totally hooked on this book from the first page. I haven't ever read a book about women that were hired to basically have sex and get caught on camera/pictures with the clients husband. These clients needed to get out of marriages and they wanted some money too but there was the nasty thing of pre-nuptial agreements which made it difficult.

The whole world of Sienna's is pretty interesting really. She gets quite a bit of income from these errands that she runs, travels to where the clients husbands are and then transforms herself into the guys type of female. It sounds like it would be a very difficult job and I wonder if there really are companies out there that do this sort of thing.
This first book is sort of just a glimpse into the world of the Eve's and getting you a bit of backstory on Sienna. You are shown what they do and how they do it and that's what hooks you into the whole thing. Before long, 90 pages have flown by and you're left wondering what is going to happen when Sienna gets a hold of the highest paying errand that an Eve could get. Does her past come and bite her on the butt or what? More, more, more is what you'll want after reading this first book in the series.
I am so jazzed about this story line!! Nicole Williams just writes characters I can slip right into their skin and follow the story as if I were the character. This plot line is fresh, intriguing, taboo-ish, but doesn't come across as taboo! How do you pull that off?!

The concept of the Eves, G (an older, sexy woman that gives Mafia bosses a run for their money),a broken heroine who has pulled herself together into this incredibly sexy, calculating, temptress out to help women being run over by their wealthy husbands, and making a darn good paycheck in the process just captivated me. You might think a woman out to set-up a wealthy man, sleep with him, get the picture proof for the wife so she can get out of a pre-nup as a tacky and 'all about sex' novel. So is not the case with this book! I want to be this woman's best friend. I kid you not. The writing is sharp, precise, story so well played out for you it's easily one of the best fiction stories I've read in the genre. Somehow the reader feels the 'real' woman who was heart broken herself, who had been in a similar situation feeling lost and alone. I never once considered not liking this character. Why am I not using her name? Because it changes depending on her current 'Errand' as the jobs are called. In this first book we know her as Sienna and the job she is assigned is perfect to let us know what her life is like, what the Errands are about, and a slight glimpse into the personal torment of her past and what propels her to do this job. So on to book #2 because I'm on this series like it's Velcro.

Fans of H.M. Ward's serials such as the Arrangement series will definitely be interested in the Great Exploitations serials.
